About the job

CPS is seeking a lawyer to support the Legal Due Diligence and Onboarding Department The role will be responsible for collecting the necessary documents required by law for newly acquired properties, entering them into a database, gathering documents related to legal and technical checks, and generally ensuring the legal maturity of properties in accordance with applicable regulations and existing procedures.

In Particular, Key Responsibilities of the Role Include

Coordination of Evictions & Escrows

• Communication with bailiffs, locksmiths, Company’s representatives, assignment of orders, informing clients about the completion of the eviction, updating systems, and recording related documents.

• Drafting and serving extrajudicial notices to former owners/tenants, updating and recording related documents in company’ systems.

• Monitoring escrow cases, trespassing issues, updating and generating related monthly reports.

• Processing invoicing in company systems.

Legal Liquidation of Real Estate

• Assigning legal due diligence to handling lawyers, receiving, reviewing, and recording in systems, invoicing.

• In case of findings during due diligence, assigning handling lawyers to remove encumbrances, correct obvious errors, change company names, etc., and monitoring progress until completion.

• Monitoring the progress of legal documents (suspension requests, objections, lawsuits), follow-up with handling lawyers.

• Serving extrajudicial lease termination notices and supervising leases’ termination

The person we are looking for

• Graduate of a higher education institution in law.

• Mandatory work experience of at least 2 years in a similar field.

• Computer literacy.

• Strong written skills in Greek and English.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to plan and supervise tasks.

Location: Athens, Thessaloniki or Patra.
