The role will support the regional Data Privacy, AI Governance, and Corporate Secretariat functions, with responsibilities including the coordination of data privacy and AI governance initiatives, administration of privacy and AI related trainings and awareness programmes, and the provision of corporate secretarial support.

You'll be responsible for:

1. Data Privacy
   • Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the Allianz Privacy Framework across Allianz Asia Pacific including Allianz Singapore branch office (AZAP) and relevant Operating Entities (OEs).
   • Contribute to the delivery of privacy governance activities, including monitoring compliance with internal privacy requirements, supporting regional and OE level privacy initiatives, and contributing to the identification and tracking of privacy risks and remediation actions.
   • Contribute to the design, delivery, and effectiveness assessment of data privacy training and awareness programmes, including analysing training outcomes and identifying areas for targeted awareness improvements.
   • Support the execution and quality management of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
   • Coordinate the management of personal data incidents and breaches, including supporting incident documentation, follow up actions, and regional oversight activities.
   • Actively engage with business stakeholders and Privacy Champions to provide guidance on data privacy principles, practical application of requirements, and escalation of complex or higher risk matters to the Regional DPO.
   • Take an active role in regional privacy projects and initiatives, including ownership of assigned deliverables, contribution to governance decision making, and engagement in cross functional privacy risk management and regulatory developments.
2. Responsible AI Governance
   • Support the coordination of Responsible AI (RAI) governance initiatives, including administrative support for AI related compliance and governance activities.
   • Assist in the administration of AI related training and awareness programmes, including tracking participation and supporting internal communications.
   • Support the organisation and maintenance of AI governance documentation, training materials, and internal guidance.
   • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of AI governance and awareness activities across the organisation.
3. Corporate Secretary
   • Assist the regional corporate secretary to coordinate and govern all corporate secretary matters across the region and provide corporate secretarial assistance and support to the legal entities across Asia and will ensure that the business is compliant to all relevant corporate governance directives and guidelines.
   • Develop and maintaining the systems and processes for governing and monitoring corporate secretarial activities across the region.
   • Coordinate with AZAP control functions with the process for review of corporate secretarial documents from local operating entities.
   • Coordinate with Group Legal on corporate secretarial and governance related activities and assist the Governance Caretaker of Allianz Asia Pacific with organizing meetings, minute taking.

Important to your success:

• Bachelors degree, diploma or equivalent in any related field.
• Self-motivated, curious and have a strong desire to learn.
• Strong interest in data privacy and AI governance matters.
• Excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluent verbal and written English and second Asian language (Mandarin preferred)
• Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of legal and data privacy requirements.
• Ability to multitask and work on various matters at the same time.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot is an added advantage.
