Description & Requirements

Introduction

This role is part of the regional legal team of Trip.com Group (NASDAQ: TCOM) and will support for the company's regional and cross-border business growing in Japan. The company's major regional business operation is related to the travel booking platform Trip.com and travel sourcing business. The regional counsel's responsible areas involves data privacy protection, consumer protection, compliance work in the tourism field, daily tourism resource procurement contracts and dispute resolution. This position requires proficiency in Japanese and accountability to search and interpret Japanese laws.


Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide local legal support for the company's business in Japan, including drafting, negotiating, and resolving disputes in Japanese contracts. Support the compliance assessment of the Japanese website page, customer complaint dispute resolution, and other affairs. Support local employees' labor law affairs.

2. Provide timely and efficient internal legal consulting and document review, assist in standardizing the company's various business operation procedures. Provide legal training for company employees.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in law from a reputable university in Japan,able to work in English, and Japanese. Able to search and interpret Japanese laws and regulations.

2. Work experience in well-known law firms or large multinational companies is preferred.
