About Your Company

King Deux has forged an exclusive alliance with a premier US based AI Growth Equity Fund. This distinguished partner specializes in investing in cutting-edge technology ventures with a global reach, particularly in the realm of exotic technologies. We are looking for a financial regulatory legal counsel to join the established team.

About your role

• Compliance in Asset Management Type 9 license fund

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable SFC regulations, to provide strategic and forward-looking advice and foster compliance.

• Providing legal support such as drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, service agreements and NDAs etc.

• Conduct due diligence and searches prior to our investments in portfolio companies

• Legal experience in handling virtual assets and their relevant legal issues in the current regulatory framework is an additional advantage

What you will need to succeed

• Undergraduate degree, with academic background in legal

• Common law jurisdiction licensed, preferably Hong Kong

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 PQE with relevant experience gained in a reputable law firm, financial institution, or VC Fund

• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, with effective resolution of conflicting priorities, and willingness to use innovative solutions to scale your legal advice

• Highly adaptive and a flexible team player in an amicable work environment
