Job Description

Our client, a leading telco company is hiring a commercial lawyer to provide legal support across daily operations and new initiatives. The role ensures compliance with local laws and company policies, with a focus on telco and privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
• Advise on legal matters across business functions
• Ensure regulatory compliance, especially in telco and data privacy
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and industry bodies
• Manage legal risks and monitor regulatory changes
• Handle disputes and ad-hoc legal projects
• Ensure legal documents align with business and product needs

About You

• 8-12 years PQE, qualified solicitor in Hong Kong
• Experience in private practice or in-house legal teams
• Knowledge of HK telecom, IP, data privacy, and PRC tech regulations preferred
• Fluency in English, Chinese, and Putonghua is essential
• Commercial mindset, analytical, and adaptable under pressure
