Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal Operations team in Luxembourg.

Team

As a member of our Legal Operations team, you will work closely with 15 highly qualified colleagues. You will become part of an agile and collaborative team, supporting the business through direct interaction with some of the most skilled and specialized professionals within the green energy sector, some of the world's largest institutional investors and global top-tier advisors.

Role

Your main responsibility will be to provide legal support to CIP, the CIP funds and projects, as well as CIP platforms, across a defined set of responsibilities. You will be expected to work independently and handle these responsibilities, with the necessary support from the rest of the team.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Establishment, maintenance, restructuring and wind-up of legal entities globally, including liaising with local legal advisors.
  • Assistance and advice relating to general corporate housekeeping across CIP, its funds and platforms.
  • Review and negotiation of agreements with service providers, including Luxembourg-based service providers to the CIP funds.
  • Legal support in connection with annual audit procedures.
  • General corporate legal advice, including the preparation, review and negotiation of legal documents such as NDAs and powers of attorney.
  • Other ad hoc tasks.

You will gain deep commercial insight into one of the world's leading investment fund managers within greenfield energy infrastructure and become an integral part of CIP's continued growth journey.

You

We expect you to have a solid understanding of corporate law, supported by a relevant master's degree (e.g. Master of Laws or MSc in Business Administration and Commercial Law), preferably combined with relevant professional experience from a law firm, private equity firm, service provider or an in-house corporate legal function in an international organization.

We look for the following in a candidate:

  • Well-developed process management skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and collaborative skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and thrive in a demanding, high-performance environment.
  • A solution-oriented approach combined with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.

The process

Please apply online as soon as possible as applications will be processed on an ongoing basis. For questions related to the role, please reach out to our Talent Acquisition team at recruitment@cipfs.com. We do not include CV's and Cover Letters sent by email.

As we continue to improve our candidate experience, diversity and avoid unconscious bias, please avoid having a photo in your CV. We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality for all applicants.
