We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel - Labor & Commercial Contracts

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive legal counsel in the areas of labor law and commercial contracts, supporting the organization’s operations, mitigating legal risks and exposure, assisting management and business units, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

This role combines legal expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to support strategic, commercial, and organizational initiatives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Labor Law & Employment Relations

  • Provide ongoing legal counsel to management and Human Resources on all employment law matters.
  • Support employee onboarding, employment, and termination processes.
  • Draft employment agreements, addendums, non-disclosure agreements, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Provide legal opinions regarding compensation, working hours, employee rights, and employment terms and conditions.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, restructuring processes, and workforce-related adjustments.
  • Monitor legislative and case law developments and implement required updates across the organization.

Commercial Legal Counsel

  • Draft, review, and approve commercial agreements.
  • Support engagements with vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Participate in negotiations relating to contracts and commercial engagements.
  • Identify and manage legal risks arising from commercial agreements.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates and legal documentation.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify legal exposures and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement employment-related policies and procedures.
  • Support regulatory audits and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with compliance and corporate governance initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Licensed Attorney in Israel - Mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in labor and employment law - Mandatory.
  • Proven experience providing ongoing legal counsel on employment relations and workforce matters.
  • Experience advising on disciplinary proceedings, employment terminations, and employee-related disputes.
  • Experience drafting employment agreements and complex employment documentation.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements - Mandatory.
  • Experience working closely with Human Resources and senior management - Significant advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Experience working within a corporate environment or a global organization - Advantage.
