Job Description

Legal & Patent advises, supports, and trains all corporate divisions worldwide on legal and patent-related matters to identify, minimize, and manage legal and economic risks in a timely manner. Additionally, Legal & Patent is responsible for managing the company’s portfolio of patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks. This area plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term success of the company.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Independent legal support for all corporate divisions and the management of our group companies worldwide in day-to-day business and special projects
  • Advice on national and international business law, particularly in general and specific civil and commercial law, competition law, product liability law, corporate law, damages law, data protection law, and the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
  • Independent drafting, structuring, reviewing, and negotiating of legal relationships for both internal and external purposes, i.e., particularly contracts with our business partners
  • Answering specific legal questions, especially in the areas of procurement, sales, data protection, LkSG, compliance, and corporate law
  • Legal support for interdisciplinary national and international projects

This is what you bring to us:

  • Successfully completed studies in law and legal clerkship (1st and 2nd state exams)
  • Ideally at least 3 years of professional experience in an internationally operating law firm or an internationally operating company, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Solid expertise in business law, particularly in civil and commercial law, competition, product liability, corporate, and general contract law
  • Very good understanding of economic and technical contexts
  • Teamwork skills, flexibility, and strong communication skills (German and English) as well as an independent, solution-oriented, and precise working style
