LEGAL COUNSEL, DISPUTE RESOLUTION

role to join our Customer Care unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer in theearly stagesof their career who is ready to take on real responsibility from day one. You will be working at the heart of our customer care legal function, managing dispute proceedings, driving process improvements, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across theorganisation

As part of the dispute resolution team responsible for passenger rights, you will developanddeepenyourexpertisein an international, fast-paced aviation environment.

This is a fixed-termpositionstarting as soon aspossible and lasting untilthe endof August 2027.

What You Will Do:

Dispute Management

  • Manage consumer disputes escalated to courts and authoritiesin Finland and abroad, ensuring the mostappropriateand effective approach is taken for each case.

  • Draft formal responses to relevant authorities on customer dispute matters.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external legal partners to resolve cases efficiently.

  • Support colleagues on complex and dispute-prone cases, sharing yourexpertisewhere needed.

ProcessDevelopment

  • Identifyopportunities to enhance and simplify dispute resolution processes.

  • Drive improvements across theorganisationto reduce the number of cases that escalate to formal disputes.

  • Stay ahead of evolving passenger rights legislation and translate changes into practical internal guidance.

  • Ensure that the best possible evidence is gathered and secured for dispute proceedings.

StakeholderEngagement& Training

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Deliver training on passenger rights and dispute resolution to relevant teams across the business.

  • Support colleagues with complex customer claims.

What We Are Looking For:

  • OTMorLLM degree.

  • Approximately 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the aviation industry or in a role involving consumer disputes or regulatory proceedings.

  • Understanding of aviation-related laws and regulations, in particular EC Regulation 261/2004and the Montreal Convention of 1999.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Finnish,additionallanguages are a merit.

  • Strongorganisationaland time management skills.

  • Sharp attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the broader picture.

  • Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex legal matters.

  • Collaborativeandcollegialworkingstyle.

  • Proficiencyin MS Office and relevant case management tools.

  • Curious and proactive, with a genuine drive to learn and share knowledge.

  • Comfortabletaking initiative and proposing improvements.

  • Analytical, quality-orientedand solutions-focused.
