What you'll be doing:

As a Legal Counsel focused on Digital, Tech, and Indirect Procurement, you’ll play a key role in supporting Avon’s global technology and digital transformation. You will advise on a broad range of tech-driven legal matters—from SaaS and cloud services to data privacy, digital platforms, IP, and emerging technologies. You’ll work closely with cross-border teams to help shape commercial decisions, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance. Alongside this, you’ll also support UK legal operations by providing guidance on data protection, employment law, consumer law, and everyday commercial activities. This role offers the unique opportunity to expand your expertise across jurisdictions while contributing to strategic initiatives that will influence the future of Avon’s digital ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising on global technology matters, including SaaS/cloud services, IP, AI governance, and cybersecurity.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts.
  • Supporting procurement, product, engineering, and IT teams with cross-border regulatory and IP advice.
  • Assisting with legal compliance for the UK market across data protection, employment law, and consumer law.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage legal risk and enable business growth.
  • Monitoring developments in technology and digital regulation to ensure the business stays compliant and competitive.

What we’re looking for:

  • Background or strong interest in technology law and digital innovation.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, global environments with cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, especially across tech and procurement matters.
  • A strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to manage and support projects.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset, comfortable operating in dynamic and evolving environments.
