Legal Counsel | Valencia (Relocation Supported)

We are now expanding their footprint in Valencia, Spain, and are looking for a sharp, autonomous Legal Counsel to join a fast-paced team that values speed, precision, and "what works."

The Role

As Legal Counsel, you will be the backbone of commercial and corporate legal operations. You wont just be "reviewing" documents; you will be navigating complex negotiations, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring this global machine meets every regulatory beat without slowing down.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Mastery: Draft and review a diverse range of agreements, including Marketing Agreements, License Agreements, SPAs, and T&Cs.
• Tech & Fintech Focus: Negotiate contracts for technology platforms, payment solutions (PSPs), banking partners, and B2B integrations.
• Negotiation Lead: Independently drive advanced contract negotiations to finalization.
• Strategic Research: Conduct legal research and manage relationships with external counsel or outsourced providers.
• Data & Compliance: Advise on data protection and privacy-related agreements.
• Corporate Governance: Utilize familiarity with Cyprus company law and corporate procedures to support international operations.
• Business Partnership: Act as the primary legal contact for internal departments (Product, Finance, Marketing), providing practical, business-oriented advice.

Requirements

• Education: Law degree, preferably from a common law jurisdiction.
• Experience: 3- 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial environment.
• Industry Expert: Proven experience in the iGaming industry is essential.
• Language: Native or professional-level English (written and spoken).
• Legal Versatility: A strong portfolio in commercial, regulatory, and finance-related legal matters.
• Mindset: High commercial awareness with the ability to provide solutions, not just identify problems. You are comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, "launch fast" culture.
