Job Purpose:
The Legal Counsel  serves as a strategic business partner responsible for providing proactive, business-oriented legal advice to support the company's operations, commercial activities, and growth initiatives. The role is accountable for identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate policies.
The ideal candidate combines strong legal expertise, strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and excellent communication skills to support a fast-paced multinational environment, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or highly regulated sectors.

Your Tasks:
  • Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate a broad range of service agreements (suppliers) including transportation,  technology, customs and bonded facilities, and other strategic business arrangements.
  • Provide legal advice to operational teams on business-critical matters and regulatory compliance. 
  • Review the legality of administrative actions, governmental requirements, inspections, and regulatory inquiries. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and advise on legal and regulatory developments impacting the business. 
  • Develop and oversee legal strategies for administrative, civil, commercial, labor, and consumer protection disputes. 
  • Manage litigation portfolios and coordinate defense strategies with external counsel. 
  • Lead legal support during inspections, audits, enforcement actions, administrative proceedings, and interactions with authorities. 
  • Manage external law firms, including performance oversight, budget control, reporting, and fee negotiations. 
  • Support business growth initiatives through proactive, solution-oriented legal counseling. 
  • Leverage legal technology and AI tools to enhance legal operations, efficiency, and risk management.
  • Advise Employee Relations and management on working time compliance, labor litigation, disciplinary actions, and employment termination strategies.
Your Profile
  • Minimum of 6 years of legal experience. At least 2 years as in-house counsel within a multinational corporation or as external legal advisor supporting multinational companies.
  • Experience managing external law firms and complex legal matters, including direct coordination and handling of inspections, audits, enforcement actions, seizures, administrative proceedings, and interactions with governmental and regulatory authorities.
  • Proven experience managing litigation, regulatory matters, legal risk assessments, and complex contractual negotiations.
  • Language: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
