Job Description

The Legal Counsel will serve as a trusted Legal Business Partner, providing independent legal advice and support across a broad range of corporate functions and business areas, as assigned. This role requires expertise in legal advisory and contracting, legal risk management, litigation, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, commercially focused legal solutions that create business value and effectively manage legal risk. The key responsibilities are:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives while identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
• Provide timely and commercially focused legal advice to business units and corporate functions, including but not limited to Human Resources, Finance, Contracting and Procurement, Manufacturing, and Real Estate, to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
• Manage and oversee litigation, disputes, and claims, including coordinating with external counsel and developing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.
• Represent the company and appear in engagements with regulators, government authorities, industry forums, and other external stakeholders, as required.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, as assigned.
• Support the company's Ethics and Compliance program by advising on the Code of Conduct, assisting with internal investigations, coordinating with external service providers, delivering compliance training, and promoting a strong culture of ethics and integrity.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide independent advice to ensure ongoing compliance and support informed business decision-making.
