Job Description

The Legal Counsel is responsible for review of contracts covering UAE, Oman and Pakistan and/or such other jurisdictions as needed based on Company requirements and directed by the Senior Legal Counsel. Assist Senior Legal Counsel in providing legal support. Travel may be required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, review, draft and negotiate commercial, sales, and service contracts.
  • Support contractual matters within the Oil & Gas services industry.
  • Provide legal advice to business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external law firms and legal advisors when required.
  • Prepare legal reports and updates for the Senior Legal Counsel.
  • Draft, review and negotiate vendor and procurement agreements.
  • Support legal operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Required:

  • 1-3 years of legal contract experience within the Commercial Department of either O& G service provider, a reputable law firm or manufacturing background
  • Entrance to the Egyptian Bar Association (mandatory).
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Right to work in Egypt without visa or work permit sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Oil and Gas Industry/Manufacturing background

Qualifications:

  • Law Degree
