Position:

Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel will report directly to the Legal Director, partner closely with business leaders in APAC region, providing legal advisory, contract reviewing and negotiations as well as handling litigations, corporate governance matters and ad hoc projects.
The ideal candidate (a) will have a proven ability to work in a global, fast paced, changing environment and with open mindset to collaborate with stakeholders within the Arrow group of companies and business units; (b) shall be a team player and be able to work swiftly, seamlessly and cohesively to generate increased productivity; (c) will have agility to adapt and blend in well in multi-culture and diversity within the Arrow organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES•

• Providing overall management of all corporate and commercial legal matters, working directly with the business leaders to understand strategic initiatives and business needs.
• Providing legal advice on complex legal matters, deals and business opportunities in APAC region, review and negotiate contracts.
• To develop a strong relationship with the internal clients and stakeholders and proactively support Arrow’s business transactions. Providing trainings to internal clients on the legal process and contract templates, providing support to litigation matters from end to end.
• Assist with establishing and continuously improving departmental systems, policies, and processes within the Legal Department.
• Providing support to the Arrow group of companies on ad-hoc projects as and when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND LANGUAGES
• A Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable university in Taiwan or other foreign jurisdictions.
• A qualified attorney in Taiwan or other jurisdiction is a plus.
• 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience
• Fluent English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
