We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel to join our diverse and dynamic team at ICON. As a Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal support to our organization, with a focus on contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders, negotiate agreements, and ensure legal compliance across all aspects of our business operations, contributing to the success and growth of ICON as a global leader in healthcare inNvation.
What you will be doing
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Providing legal guidance and support on regulatory compliance matters, including FDA regulations, healthcare laws, and data privacy requirements.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support business initiatives, identify legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address legal issues, resolve disputes, and support strategic initiatives and projects.
Your profile
• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; JD or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Prior experience in a legal role, with a focus on contracts, regulatory compliance, or healthcare law.
• Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory requirements, and industry standards relevant to the pharmaceutical or biotechNlogy sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to Nn-legal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to legal issues and challenges.
