We are looking for a new colleague to join our Legal & Compliance team as a Legal Counsel based in our Prague office.

What you would work on?

• Managing Inhouse lawyer agenda dealing with the day-to-day business needs of the foundation, including corporate matters, employment issues, and contracts agenda.  
• DMS (document management system) administration, maintenance of legal templates. 
• Maintaining legal framework of intragroup relationships.  
• Liaising with authorities, public administration bodies, courts and notaries (the context of the corporate agenda).  
• Daily communication with operations and finance team.  
• Regulatory agenda (communication with regulatory agencies, TSOs, monitoring legal developments and evaluating impacts on business strategies).  
• Electricity market access agenda and contracting agenda (contracts, market rules, power purchase negotiations, cross-border trading rules).  
• Involvement in M&A activities of the group.  
• Working with the best mathematicians in the world.  

What makes you a great candidate?

• High work commitment and an active approach to problem solving. 
• University education - master's degree in law.  
• 1 or 2 years in a law firm is an advantage (but not a requirement).  
• Fluent Czech, English proficiency at B2 level, knowledge of German is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
