About The Role:

We are urgently recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join a telecommunication company. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contracts management, corporate housekeeping, case management, and legal risk management to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks for the company.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contract Management Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.

• Legal Advisory Provide timely legal opinions and consultancy to management on various legal issues, particularly concerning contract management and potential legal risks.

• Risk Mitigation Collaborate with internal departments to identify legal risks and recommend appropriate courses of action to mitigate them.

• Compliance Ensure that all contracts, agreements, and internal policies comply with applicable statutory and legal requirements.

• Litigation and Case Management Handle litigation-related matters, including working closely with external counsel to manage legal disputes effectively.

• Corporate Housekeeping Oversee corporate legal documentation, ensuring all legal records are properly maintained and updated.

• Due Diligence Participate in legal due diligence, particularly for the acquisition of new sites or assets, ensuring that all legal obligations are met.

• Policy Review Advise on the legal implications of company policies and procedures, and ensure their alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Special Projects Handle any special projects assigned by management, providing legal guidance as needed.

What our Client is Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Juris Doctor (JD); admission to the bar is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial contract review, drafting, and management.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial legal practices.
• Experience in corporate housekeeping, legal risk management, and litigation support.
• Proven ability to provide legal advice and solutions aligned with business needs.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
