StandardAero is seeking a Legal & Compliance Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of a global Legal & Compliance function. This role is ideal for an early-career professional interested in how legal and compliance teams operate at scale. This position focuses on the operational, administrative, and systems-related work that enables Legal & Compliance to function efficiently. The Analyst will play a key role in managing legal workflows, supporting outside counsel and matter management processes, and helping maintain the tools and data that drive decision-making. This position is based at our headquarters office in Scottsdale, AZ.

What you'll do:

Legal/Compliance Operations & Matter Management

  • Support the intake, tracking, and lifecycle management of legal matters using matter management systems

  • Assist with outside counsel engagement processes, including onboarding, tracking, and coordination

  • Help maintain billing processes, invoice tracking, and basic review support in coordination with internal stakeholders

  • Ensure accurate and consistent matter data entry and documentation

  • Assist in maintaining reports on training compliance

  • Assist with maintaining and updating the legal and compliance policy library, including policy updates and version control

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools for Legal & Compliance activities

  • Support development of reports on legal spend, matter volume, investigation metrics, and other KPIs

  • Analyze data trends to support operational improvements and leadership reporting

  • Assist in building or enhancing reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel-based dashboards)

Tools & Systems Support

  • Serve as a functional user and coordinator for legal and compliance tools (e.g., matter management, e-billing, document management systems)

  • Assist with system administration tasks such as user access, basic configuration, and data hygiene

  • Partner with IT and vendors as needed to troubleshoot issues and support enhancements

  • Support implementation and optimization of new tools and processes

Process & Operational Support

  • Help document, standardize, and improve legal and compliance workflows

  • Support project management efforts for key Legal & Compliance initiatives

  • Maintain organized records, templates, and internal resources

  • Provide general operational and administrative support to the Legal & Compliance team

What This Role Is — and Is Not

  • This is a legal operations role, focused on process, data, tools, and efficiency
  • This is not an attorney track position
  • This is not an IT role, but it does require comfort working with systems and data

Position Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in legal operations, compliance operations, business operations, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Excel (data tracking, basic analysis, pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Exposure to legal or compliance tools (e.g., matter management systems like Legal Tracker, Brightflag), and e-billing systems is a plus
  • Experience with workflow management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
