Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Preparing draft and review the Companys contracts, letter of agreements, and other documents related to Legal needs and
    ensure the contract is accordance with business goals and compliance guidelines, maintain the documentation database, and
    liaise with other divisions with regard to contracts preparation and contracts execution.
  • Manage the validity of all companys licenses and permit and ensure that all licenses and permit required for the companys
    commercial, and operational aspects are obtained as per prevailing laws and regulations.
  • Directly liaise with external parties, government institution or any other relevant regulators.
  • Developing and implementing legal & risk management strategies, and through the collaboration with other functions provide
    strategic legal insight, potential risk exposure, and mitigation plans of any significant legal and regulatory developments to the
    management.
  • Organize and and co-ordinate Directors' and Shareholders' meetings, including attending and preparing meeting
    documentation.
  • Manage disputes, litigation and any regulatory matters that may arise or affect the company's business.
  • Protecting Companys intellectual property rights as needed by the Company, including matters related to trademarks,
    patents, trade secrets, and copyrights.
  • Participating in due diligence when required by the Company.
  • Handle Compliance training
  • Handle any other tasks / projects that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements :

  1. At least 3 year(s) of working experience as Legal & Compliance Assistant Manager in the related field is required for this position
  2. Solid knowledge of all relevant local laws and regulations and proven experience liasing with relevant local regulatory institution
  3. Excellence legal analytical, legal drafting, giving legal opinion and negotiation skills
  4. Proficient in English, both verbal and writing
  5. Multitasking individual as well as team player
  6. Able to work towards deadline with right sense of urgency and able to work overtime if necessary
  7. Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and initiatives.
  8. Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to communicate effectively at all levels
  9. Has passed Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat (PKPA) is preferable.
