Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of a Legal Business Support Administrator, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.50 - £18.36 per hour

An opportunity to provide professional legal and administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer and wider legal team. The role involves managing legal documentation, supporting casework processes, and ensuring efficient coordination of legal activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal case files using the case management system (IKEN)
  • Prepare and bundle court documentation and legal papers
  • Maintain and organise legal records and electronic filing systems
  • Monitor legal inboxes and allocate queries appropriately
  • Support Right to Buy processes and prepare legal documentation

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths (essential)
  • Legal or administrative qualification (desirable)

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a legal administration or support role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Good IT skills (case management systems, Excel, MS Office)
  • Excellent communication and ability to prioritise workload
