Job Description

Overview

Location: Hybrid. Pittsburgh, PAJob Type: Full Time / Contract Work Authorization: “no C2C” or “no sponsorship”

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Legal Billing Specialist. Ideal candidates must have at least a year of 3E or Elite Enterprise experience in a legal billing role.

Responsibilities

  • Support e-billing vendors, AP vendors, and client contacts and respond to client driven inquiries
  • Verify rates, AFAs, billing notes and instructions
  • Audit and review time and disbursements for format, rates, and adherences to specified guidelines
  • Reconcile invoices to the accounting system and verify supporting documentation
  • Research and respond to information requests regarding time, disbursements, invoices, e-billing, timekeepers, rates, trust funds and collections
  • Assist with collection efforts as needed
  • Maintain client reports and databases

Qualifications

Education

  • HS diploma or GED

Experience Required:

  • 1+ years experience of 3E or Elite Enterprise experience
  • Ability to handle a high volume of invoices
  • Patience to work with invoices needing revisions or repeated rejections
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
