Role accountabilities:

•Transform Data into Insights: Develop reports and actionable dashboards that empower the legal team to make strategic, data-driven decisions.

• Support Legal Analytics: Analyze, interpret, and organize legal and operational data to support key legal functions such as contract management, claims analysis, and compliance monitoring.

• Act as an Administrator: Manage user access, functional administration, system monitoring, and technical administration of legal platform.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Act as an SME in reporting solutions, analyzing data patterns to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

• Develop Tailored Reporting Models: Work closely with legal, operations, and IT teams to design and roll out reporting models and frameworks tailored to the legal team's objectives and priorities.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with legal and business stakeholders to understand requirements for recurring and ad hoc reporting requests, including flat reports, forms, dashboards, and presentation decks, ensuring alignment with the team's analytical and reporting needs.

• Ensure Best Practices: Recommend and implement industry standards and best practices to stabilize and enhance the legal reporting workstream.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Collaboration: Collaborate with functional leaders, legal stakeholders, and IT teams to create and manage tailored reporting solutions that address the unique needs of the legal team.

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with legal team members to document detailed report requirements, translating them into functional specifications to support various stages of contract management, claims analysis, and risk monitoring.

• Analysis and Decision-Making: Demonstrate the ability to accurately analyze legal and operational data to make sound decisions regarding technology-related projects, including system requirements, testing, and implementation of reporting tools for the legal function.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior business leaders and users to determine the reporting requirements.

• Technical Translation: Effectively translate complex business requirements into technical requirements.

• Interdepartmental Reporting: Understand cross-departmental reporting requirements, design reporting models that integrate legal data, and roll out reports aligned with data security and confidentiality standards.

• Distribution and Scheduling: Document internal and external report distribution requirements, developing and maintaining a delivery schedule that ensures timely access to critical legal data and insights.

• Performance Metrics and Insights: Design, develop, and maintain KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and analyses to track legal team performance, support contract and claims management, and drive informed decision-making within the organization.

• Legal Platform Administration: Manage user access, platform configuration, and functional administration activities. Monitor data quality and support the effective operation of the platform.

• Reporting Delivery and Automation: Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements, identify opportunities for automation and scheduled reporting, and support the creation of reports, dashboards, data extracts, presentation decks, and forms
