About the role and team
Our national Asbestos & Dust Diseases team is highly experienced in representing people affected by occupational diseases. The team combines deep technical expertise with genuine compassion, guiding clients and their families through every stage of their compensation journey and delivering exceptional outcomes with care and respect.
This team sits at a rare intersection of urgency and meaning. Our clients are often facing a terminal diagnosis, so we work with real speed and purpose to help them see justice done in their own lifetime. It is some of the most human legal work you’ll do – walking alongside people and their families through an incredibly difficult chapter, holding negligent employers and manufacturers accountable, and helping families find closure and financial security.
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Asbestos & Dust Diseases team in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.
You’ll play an important role in supporting our lawyers and ensuring our clients receive a seamless, compassionate and professional experience. You’ll be involved across the lifecycle of matters, providing both administrative and legal support in a technically complex and highly specialised area of personal injury law.
This is an opportunity to bring your existing legal support experience to a team where your contribution has a direct and tangible impact on our clients’ lives, while continuing to develop your skills alongside practitioners who are recognised leaders in this field.
