We are seeking a
proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Fee Earner to join our

the ability to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

managing files, including document preparation, case tracking, and
filing. You will also manage a small caseload of lower-value or routine
    cases as appropriate.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and
prepare legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, pleadings,
and reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Client Communication: Act as a key
point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, answering
queries, and gathering information to progress cases.
  • Research: Conduct legal research to
support case preparation, including researching relevant laws,
    regulations, and case precedents.
  • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal
documents with courts and other legal bodies, ensuring all submissions
    are completed on time.
  • Billing and Fee Management: Assist in
billing processes, manage time entries, and ensure accurate recording of
    chargeable hours for cases.
  • Administrative Support: Perform
general administrative duties, including managing solicitor schedules,
booking meetings, and maintaining organised case files.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Fee Earner within a law firm, ideally with exposure to managing your own caseload.
  • Understanding of legal procedures and relevant legal documentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification or legal assistant training is a plus.
  • Experience in a specific area of law, such as personal injury, conveyancing, family law, or litigation.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, office-based position with opportunities for professional development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for
