About the department

The Legal department owns Prop Firm Match’s contractual, regulatory, and corporate integrity across a fast-scaling, multi-jurisdictional business.

We manage the full contract lifecycle, corporate documentation, and regulatory research that enable the company to operate confidently in a complex and evolving legal landscape.

As the organization grows, our focus is on building rigorous, well-documented legal processes - disciplined agreement tracking, sound recordkeeping, and clear escalation paths - so legal and compliance risks are identified and managed proactively rather than reactively.

About the role

At PFM, trust in our paperwork is trust in the company - that agreements are signed, obligations are tracked, and legal questions get real answers before they become real problems. As Legal Assistant, you're the reason that trust holds: you keep routine agreements moving cleanly to signature, make sure nothing slips through on a deadline, and surface the questions that matter with enough context for a fast decision. Done well, this role gives our In-House Counsel the space to focus on real legal judgment instead of chasing paperwork, and gives every team at PFM the confidence to move quickly without outrunning our legal footing.

Requirements

Performance objectives

Objective 1 – Move routine agreements through review and execution reliably

Outcome: Routine documents arrive for Counsel's review complete and accurate, and approved agreements progress and get revised within the service windows and review standards agreed with the In-House Counsel.

Typical tasks:

• Prepare and review first drafts of NDAs, simple vendor agreements, and standard-form documents using approved templates.
• Check requests for missing commercial details, approvals, and attachments before Counsel reviews them.
• Coordinate revisions, signatures, and final-file handoff after Counsel approves the legal position.

Objective 2 – Keep legal records and deadlines dependable

Outcome: The correct document and its current status can be retrieved within the response standard agreed with the In-House Counsel; assigned deadlines are recorded and escalated ahead of the agreed lead time, with no preventable misses caused by poor tracking.

Typical tasks:

• Maintain the legal file structure and agreement tracker, including owners, status, key dates, and executed versions.
• Monitor upcoming renewals, filing dates, and response deadlines; flag risks to Counsel before they become urgent.
• Apply consistent naming, version control, and confidentiality practices to legal records.

Objective 3 – Turn regulatory questions into decision-ready research

Outcome: Counsel receives reliable, clearly sourced summaries - delivered within the timelines agreed with the In-House Counsel - that shorten investigation time and make unresolved questions visible before decisions are made.

Typical tasks:

• Research assigned contract, corporate, or regulatory questions and identify the relevant jurisdiction and source date.
• Summarize the issue, applicable sources, practical implications, and open questions for Counsel.
• Track follow-up information needed from internal teams or external advisers.

Objective 4 – Make cross-functional legal requests easy to progress

Outcome: Stakeholders know the status and owner of their requests, routine matters move within the response times agreed with the In-House Counsel, and Counsel can focus attention on decisions requiring legal expertise.

Typical tasks:

• Log and triage incoming legal requests, confirm required information, and communicate next steps.
• Coordinate facts, documents, and responses with internal stakeholders and external counsel when directed.
• Provide short status updates and escalate blocked or higher-risk requests to the In-House Counsel.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum a year of experience in a legal, paralegal, compliance, or corporate administrative role (internships and clerkships count).
• Working knowledge of routine commercial contracts (NDAs, vendor agreements, standard-form documents) and corporate documentation.
• Strong legal drafting and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to research and summarize legal or regulatory questions clearly, with accurate sourcing and jurisdiction references.
• Comfortable working with Google Drive or a comparable document management system.
• Meticulous attention to detail and disciplined handling of confidential information.
• Sound judgment about when to escalate a question to Counsel rather than answer it independently.
• Strong organizational skills - able to track multiple deadlines, renewals, and matters at once without anything slipping.

Nice to Have Requirements

• Familiarity with DocuSign or a similar e-signature platform.
• Exposure to compliance or cross-border regulatory work.

Compensation

USD 1,300-USD 2,500 monthly gross

Remote (Dubai-based preferred), CET-aligned working hours.

6. Peer & values conversation – A conversation with a peer from across the team focused on values, culture, and how you work best. You'll have plenty of space to ask questions and get a real feel for life at PFM.
7. Leadership Conversation - A conversation focused on business alignment, collaboration with leadership, and comfort operating in a scaling, remote-first startup.
