Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy litigation team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position supports attorneys handling general personal injury and complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling personal injury and complex litigation cases.
• Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents with state and federal courts.
• Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and case schedules.
• Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other legal professionals.
• Draft correspondence and assist with discovery, document production, and trial preparation.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in litigation.
• Experience supporting personal injury and/or complex litigation matters is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and filing requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting attorneys on government-related or Attorney General litigation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Arkansas court systems and e-filing procedures.
