Provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to the department, ensuring accurate preparation, review, and management of legal documents and correspondence. This role facilitates efficient operations by coordinating schedules, handling client communications, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Coordinates schedules and meetings to ensure efficient time management and reduce scheduling conflicts.
Prepares and edits documents and communications to support daily operations and maintain professional standards.
Drafts and transcribes letters, documents, memos, reports, tables, presentations, contracts, and legal and administrative documents to ensure accuracy and readiness for required approvals and signatures.
Processes purchase requisitions, payment invoices, and expense reports to ensure accurate financial tracking and provide administrative support to the department.
Manages office supplies and filing systems to ensure smooth workflow and quick access to information.
Provides administrative and client support to the legal department by managing and directing incoming calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication flow and high-quality service.
Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.
Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.
Additional Job Description:
Education
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related administrative field.
Experience
1 to 3 years' experience with functional role responsibilities.
Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous administrative assistant role.

Proofread all documents requiring department counsels’ signatures for wording and spelling accuracy.
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
