Legal and Internal Audit, Senior Officer

Your Mission

The Senior Internal Audit and Legal Officer is responsible for strengthening corporate governance by conducting independent internal audits across all business functions and providing proactive legal advisory services. This role ensures that the organization’s operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and good governance practices. The position acts as a key partner to management in risk identification, control improvement, ethical business conduct, and legal risk mitigation.

What will you be doing?

• Provide legal advice and support on business operations, commercial contracts, corporate matters, and legal risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and other legal documents to protect the Company's interests.
• Support corporate governance activities, including Board and shareholder matters, Power of Attorney (POA), Delegation of Authority (DOA), company secretarial coordination, and the development of governance and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, auditors, regulators, and relevant authorities, and support dispute resolution, litigation, and regulatory matters as required.
• Conduct investigations into fraud, misconduct, or policy violations, and promote ethical conduct, integrity, and transparency throughout the organization.
• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan covering governance, internal controls, regulatory compliance, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and risk management across all departments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and prepare clear audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit findings and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement of the Company's governance and control environment.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Law
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, permits and licenses, governmental liaison, or business administration
• Experience in Petrochemical industry is an advantage
• TOEIC score of 550 or above.
