ADI is hiring on behalf of our client, a fintech platform with a mission to accelerate access to credit to the underbanked population of South East Asia. The platform is regulated by OJK and has notable investors. The platforms proprietary credit algorithms build a credit score for the underbanked within seconds and provides real time information to their users. In addition, the platform has partnered with a state-owned bank to digitize their payroll financing product and works with several closed loop ecosystem to achieve their mission.

- Providing legal advice, and support in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Liaising with partners legal & compliance team to create compliant products.
- Leading and owning BOD & BOC meetings, regulatory reporting and compliance matters.
- Review and evaluate existing company procedures & processes, and suggest changes where required.
- Advising on day to day legal matters of the company.
- Analyzing OJK/AFPI regulations/updates and provide team direction and guidelines on compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.
- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant authorities (OJK, AFPI, AfTech etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in law, business administration, or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal & compliance officer, manager, or similar position (preferred experience from a growth fintech company).
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities and an analytical mind with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bahasa.
