Job Description

[What the role is]

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the business context, The role focuses on leveraging AI tools and solutions to drive business innovation, strengthen data-driven decision-making and enable intelligent automation. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing future-ready business professionals who can apply AI strategically, critically, and responsibly to create sustainable organisational and societal value.

[What you will be working on]

Teaching & Student Development

  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, student consultations, and supervise industry-based projects and internships.
  • Teach and facilitate applied learning in areas such as AI for business innovation, AI-enabled decision-making, agentic AI, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Guide students in identifying business opportunities, analysing and redesigning workflows, prototyping AI-enabled solutions, and developing evidence-based business cases.
  • Develop students’ ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and make sound decisions based on data, evidence, business considerations, and human judgement.Support students’ learning and development through mentoring, coaching, and appropriate academic interventions.

  • Organise student activities, industry visits, overseas learning journeys, and experiential learning opportunities to promote holistic development.

Curriculum, Assessment & Learning Design

  • Lead or contribute to the development and delivery of subjects in areas such as AI for Business Innovation and AI-enabled Decision Making, including assessments, assignments, marking, and moderation activities.
  • Evaluate and enhance curriculum quality, lesson design, delivery methods such as e-learning, flipped classroom, and blended learning, as well as assessment practices through effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Contribute to subject reviews, curriculum development, accreditation exercises, and programme enhancement initiatives.

Digital, Applied & Industry-Relevant Learning

  • Embed applied AI practices into curriculum design, including generative AI, machine learning applications, agentic AI, intelligent automation, data analytics, business intelligence, workflow redesign, and rapid prototyping.
  • Facilitate students’ experimentation with appropriate AI platforms and tools to develop and validate products, services, processes, and business-model innovations.
  • Translate current industry practices into meaningful and effective learning experiences that strengthen students’ workplace readiness and applied problem-solving capabilities.

Industry Collaboration & Professional Practice

  • Participate actively in professional development activities, industry projects, consultancy work, and applied research initiatives.
  • Contribute actively to school-wide, poly-wide, and industry engagement activities.

Continuing Education & Training (CET)

  • Develop and facilitate Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes and professional workshops for adult learners and industry practitioners.

[What we are looking for]

  • Qualifications in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Digital Innovation, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in one or more areas such as AI-enabled business transformation, digital innovation, business analytics, intelligent automation, product or service innovation, technology consulting, or AI solution implementation.
  • Practical familiarity with generative AI, AI-assisted research and analysis, agentic AI, workflow automation, business intelligence, data visualisation, and/or AI-enabled solution prototyping.
  • Sound understanding of responsible AI principles, AI ethics, governance, risk management, data privacy, cybersecurity, algorithmic bias, transparency, accountability, and human oversight.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing both pre-employment students and adult learners.
