The Center for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies is accepting applications for faculty positions teaching on a part-time basis to teach Arabic as a Foreign Language at the Intermediate, High Intermediate and Advanced levels during the Fall 2026-27 semester according to the needs of the center.
These positions require a master’s degree. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to teaching, innovative pedagogical tools, and thorough knowledge of the relevant disciplines.
Application reviews will begin now and proceed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.
Position is to begin on September 1, 2026
MA degrees are required for instructor positions, PhD degrees are required for lecturer positions.
A complete application includes a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and, if applicable, ICE reports for all courses taught at AUB over the last three years.
