The Program Director for Radiologic Technology provides academic, clinical, and administrative leadership to ensure the program's quality, effectiveness, and compliance with accreditation standards. This role oversees curriculum design and delivery, integrates didactic and clinical education, and fosters a student-centered learning environment that promotes technical competence, critical thinking, and professional development. The Program Director manages faculty, coordinates clinical partnerships, and ensures alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards. Additionally, the position monitors program outcomes, including student success, licensure pass rates, and job placement, using data-driven decision-making and continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes, while serving as a liaison between the institution, accrediting bodies, and healthcare partners.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure effective program operations
  • Oversee ongoing program accreditation and assessment processes
  • Participate in budget planning
  • Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction, as appropriate
  • Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development
  • Assume the leadership role in the continued development of the program

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications for Lecturer

  • Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising
  • At least one year of clinical experience in the discipline
  • At Least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography

Minimum Qualifications for Assistant Professor

  • Doctoral degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising
  • Three years of clinical experience in the discipline
  • Two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program
  • Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
