This posting establishes a pool of candidates to fill temporary, non-tenure-track lecturer positions in Urban & Regional Planning. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current, open position. Single-course appointments will be made semester by semester, as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2026, at which point, all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to future pools after that date.

What you will do:
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments will be made. Lecturers selected from this pool will teach in the College’s graduate program. Classes may range from three to six credit hours and may include lectures, seminars, and studios in all teaching modes (in-person, hybrid, online, remote).

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
The above salary represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
This part-time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, or retirement benefits.
