Base Salary of $132,533 + 17% superannuation (Pro-rata) plus Full clinical loading

The General Practice Clinical School is looking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching & Research) in General Practice to engage and collaborate with staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students within the specialty, Sydney Medical School and Faculty of Medicine and Health.
This role will contribute to high-quality teaching and impactful research within General Practice, supporting a balanced academic workload (40% teaching / 40% research / 20% service). The successful candidate will join a collaborative academic environment and contribute to innovative curriculum development and a growing research profile.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs
contribute to curriculum design, development and evaluation
conduct independent and collaborative research leading to publications and funding success
supervise students and support learning outcomes in a variety of educational settings
engage in academic service, including administration and participation in faculty initiatives
build collaborations and contribute to the broader research and teaching community
About you
Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery/ Doctor of Medicine or equivalent
Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or equivalent
a PhD is not essential but highly regarded
current APHRA registration
demonstrated research experience with an emerging track record of outputs
experience in teaching and/or curriculum development in higher education or postgraduate training
ability to integrate research into teaching practice
