The Department of Statistics and Data Science at Yale University is seeking applicants for a full-time teaching faculty position at the rank of Lecturer with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. We are looking for candidates with strong teaching skills, a passion for teaching, and experience or interest in innovative pedagogy. Successful candidates will contribute creatively to the teaching and further development of our Statistics & Data Science programs, particularly those courses and experiences oriented towards data analysis and interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to courses for Statistics & Data Science majors, this position will be involved in the teaching of courses in Statistics and Data Science for students of diverse backgrounds and interests throughout the university. The appointee must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or have completed all requirements for that degree by the time of hire.
