About the Role

The Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Educational Leadership is a key academic appointment within the School of Education, part of the Faculty of Arts, Society and Business. You will contribute to high quality teaching, research and program development in Educational Leadership, helping prepare future school and system leaders.

You will deliver engaging learning experiences, contribute to curriculum innovation, supervise postgraduate and HDR students, and undertake impactful research. At Levels C and D, you will also provide academic leadership and support the strategic growth of Educational Leadership programs across campuses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high quality teaching in Educational Leadership
  • Contribute to curriculum innovation and program development
  • Conduct impactful research aligned with Educational Leadership
  • Supervise postgraduate and HDR students
  • Engage in governance, service and professional activities

Regular on campus attendance is required to support face to face teaching, student engagement, and participation in the life of the School.

The School of Education is nationally recognised for excellence in teacher education across Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary and postgraduate programs.   • Demonstrated expertise in Educational Leadership within the Australian education context
  • A strong record of teaching excellence and curriculum innovation
  • A developing (Level B), established (Level C) or nationally recognised (Level D) research profile
  • Evidence of leadership in governance, service or professional engagement (increasing with level)

Role Details

  • Permanent/Continuing, full-time appointment
  • Level B: $122,478 - $141,446 + 17% Superannuation OR
  • Level C: $148,771 - $167,785 + 17% Superannuation OR
  • Level D: $179,439 - $192,572 + 17% Superannuation
  • The successful candidate will be appointed at Lecturer (Level B), Senior Lecturer (Level C) or Associate Professor (Level D) commensurate with qualifications and experience.
