Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion is looking for a professional with a strong academic and industry background in project management, innovation, digital transformation, customer experience, immersive technologies, business strategy, and emerging technologies applied to fashion, luxury, and creative industries.
Role and Responsibilities
The appointed Lecturer will be expected to:
Deliver engaging and industry-oriented teaching in Project Management and Innovation Management;
Introduce students to project planning, implementation, monitoring, risk management, partnership management, and strategic project development;
Guide students in the use of project management methodologies and tools, including project lifecycle management, WBS, PERT, Gantt Charts, deliverables management, and implementation planning;
Support students in understanding the impact of emerging technologies on business models and customer experiences, including Blockchain, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Web3, AR, VR, Mixed Reality, and immersive environments;
Facilitate workshops, project reviews, and group activities aimed at developing strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills;
Provide academic guidance and feedback throughout the development of individual and group projects;
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous enhancement of teaching methodologies.
Professional and Educational Requirements
Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate:
A Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Business Management, Innovation Management, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Marketing, or related disciplines;
A minimum of three years' teaching experience in higher education or professional training environments;
Professional experience in project management, consulting, innovation, digital strategy, customer experience, technology-driven business development, or related fields;
Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks;
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Big Data, Web3, AR/VR, immersive experiences, and their application within fashion, luxury, retail, or creative industries;
Strong communication, mentoring, and presentation skills;
Availability to teach on campus in Milan during the 2026/2027 academic year.
Experience within the fashion, luxury, lifestyle, retail, technology, or creative industries;
Experience managing multidisciplinary projects involving innovation, digital transformation, or customer experience design;
Familiarity with user-centred design, experiential design, storytelling, and immersive communication environments.
