
This position may be appointed as either Education Focused (EF) or Teaching & Research (T&R), depending on the successful candidate’s profile and experience.
Teaching & Research
The Lecturer will contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the Bachelor of Exercise Science/Master of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology program, with a particular focus on neurological rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The role combines excellence in teaching alongside an active research program, contributing to curriculum development, student learning, course coordination and academic quality.
Working within a collaborative academic environment, the Lecturer will undertake high-quality research that advances physiotherapy knowledge and clinical practice, while maintaining high standards of teaching quality and student engagement. This role also contributes to research funding and supervision and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and research translation to strengthen the School's research profile and impact.
Education Focussed
UNSW's Education Focussed (EF) roles enable academics to specialise in teaching and drive excellence in student learning. The Lecturer will contribute to the delivery of the Bachelor of Exercise Science/Master of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology program, with a focus on neurological rehabilitation and physiotherapy, delivering engaging, evidence-informed teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Working within a collaborative academic environment, the role will contribute to curriculum development, course coordination and academic quality, while fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports student success, innovation in teaching and continuous improvement across the program.
