About the school
The School of Education (Fremantle and Sydney) offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including initial teacher education for early childhood, primary and secondary teachers, and postgraduate programs in early childhood, leadership and management, curriculum, special learning needs and religious education.
About the role
The purpose of this role is to make contributions to the scholarly teaching, research and leadership efforts of the University of Notre Dame Australia. The successful candidate will teach, coordinate and lead courses and programs inLanguage and Literacy Education in NationalEarly Childhood andInitial Teacher Education and post graduate degreesand ensure alignment with the Accreditation of initial teacher education programs in Australia: Standards and Procedures.
The successful candidate will also carry out scholarly research, supervise HDR students, and take up professional activities relevant to promoting knowledge about language and literacy that supports learner’s capacities to participate incommunities within and beyond school. This position reports to the National Head of School, Education.
Level B (Lecturer)
A level B Academic Staff Member is expected to make contributions to the teaching effort of the institution and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly, research and/or professional service activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
