About the Position:

The College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University is establishing a growing suite of Project Management programs, alongside emerging research initiatives in the field. This Lecturer in Project Management role will play a critical part in supporting the development, delivery, and ongoing success of the discipline, contributing to both teaching excellence and research growth.

In this position, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Project Management across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including lectures, tutorials, workshops, and online learning environments
  • Contribute to curriculum design, topic coordination, and the development of innovative and contemporary teaching materials
  • Undertake independent research activity, including publications, participation in grant applications, and contribution to the College’s research profile
  • Engage with industry and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships that enhance teaching, learning, and research outcomes

About You

You are an emerging or established academic with expertise in Project Management and a passion for teaching, research, and industry engagement. You are committed to delivering high-quality, student-centred learning experiences and contributing to the development of a growing discipline area.

  • You will demonstrate:
  • A PhD in Project Management or a closely related discipline
  • Experience teaching at tertiary level in Project Management or related areas
  • Evidence of, or potential for, research activity including publications and grant development
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices

This position is open to domestic candidate with Australian Work Rights. Relocation support is available.
