We are ideally looking for academics who may wish to work the standard model of Monday-Friday in the day-time, and those who may be interested in a more flexible teaching timetable which may include evenings: Tuesday-Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday day-time classes.

This role will require a presence of at least 3-4 days a week on our Holborn London campus, with 1 day working from home to suit the student timetable. You may be required to be on campus 5 days a week in some cases, based on teaching and meeting requirements. Our hybrid working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit which could changes at any point during your employment, so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

The School sits within Arden University's Faculty of Foundation Studies, which supports students at the early stages of their higher education journey. We are currently looking for a team of Lecturers to support with the delivery of our FdA Business & Innovation. Teaching may be a maximum of 16-20 hours per week, academic support including office hours and tutorials and facilitating the cover rota in campus. You will also be supporting module development in the first 2 years of your role and there may be opportunities to be a Module Leader.

We are looking for individuals who understand challenges to student engagement in a university setting and have experience of teaching Business / Innovation and academic skills in this subject-area. You must be positive and empathetic to dealing with student issues, ensuring we further engage students with their studies and ensuring positive student outcomes.
