Job Description

The Health Sciences Department at Ursinus College is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach one section of Current Trends in Health (HS-232W) during the Fall 2026 semester. Current Trends in Health is a writing intensive course designed to meet the needs of students with an interest in the health sciences. The course will focus on current health trends and issues that impact society using a combination of lectures, discussions, and writing projects. Course materials and class discussions will examine how health-related topics affect society and how health disparities play a role in these outcomes. The course is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 – 9:50 am, beginning on August 24, 2026, until December 16, 2026. Ursinus is committed to in-person learning only. Master’s Degree (or higher) in a related field of study is required. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
