Saint Xavier University seeks applicants for a full-time 9-month Non-Tenure Assistant Professorial Lecturer position within Exercise Science to begin in August 2026.
The Exercise Science Division is within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The Exercise Science Division includes majors in exercise science (undergraduate and graduate), Sports Management, Physical Education, and a Strength and Conditioning Minor. The objective of the Exercise Science Division at Saint Xavier University is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical application necessary for today’s entry-level exercise science careers. The Exercise Science program is part of the National Strength and Conditioning Associations Educational Recognized Program (ERP) in which students will establish evidence-based practices, scientific knowledge, and practical work experience to bridge the gap between science and application. Program faculty are expected to work collaboratively with each other, faculty outside of the program, and community partners..
o Teach in undergrad and graduate Exercise Science program.
o Serve as a mentor to students in the Exercise Science Division
o Participate in research and scholarship.
o Provide service to the University, community, and profession.
o Perform other duties as designated by the Dean and/or Director of Exercise Science.
