This posting will establish and maintain a pool of part-time lecturers with experience teaching Philosophy courses in designated fields of the discipline. By submitting your application, you will become part of an applicant pool. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. The department will contact you if there is an opening that suits your qualifications for the Fall 2026 semester for the Department of Philosophy in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver. This posting includes both online and in-person teaching opportunities.
By submitting your application, you will be considered for this lecturer position. The candidate hired from this application will fill a temporary, non-tenure track position. The appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be subject to a semester-by-semester decision, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $1,704 per credit hour (undergraduate courses) and $1,849 per credit hour (graduate courses).
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
