Together with our IKEA stores, we create meeting places for friends and families to have a safe and fun day out. We also develop land and invest in residential, office and other types of real estate to create vibrant destinations where people can live, work and play. About the job

The Leasing Manager delivers sustainable sales and income growth for our shopping centres by securing attractive, profitable, and sustainable leasing of rentable space. Furthermore, will continuously promote Ikano Centres as a preferred landlord for new and existing tenants.

Your assignment

  • Deliver the best possible lease deals by reaching or exceeding pre-defined commercial goals through negotiation strategy;
  • Contribute and participate in Leasing Strategies, Business Plans, Budget and Rent Rolls setting;
  • Follow up Yearly Lease Plan in accordance with assigned brands and implement from negotiation until the execution of tenancy agreement (new and renewal);
  • Work alongside the Leasing Category Manager in conducting strategic negotiations with tenants;
  • Constantly search on the market, initiate and deliver new brands which are most relevant to the shopping centre lease strategies;
  • Plan and implement effective leasing strategies to achieve the desired tenant mix and income;
  • Monitor tenant’s business activities and prepare reports or recommendations that support decision-making;
  • Establish and maintain good and long-term relationships with tenants for sustainable business cooperation as a preferred landlord.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in similar capacity within a shopping centre environment;
  • You have strong retail contacts and good networking within the retail industry;
  • You have a sound knowledge and understanding of the shopping mall industry and market knowledge of retail performance and trends;
  • You are good in interpersonal and communication skills and strong negotiation skills;
  • You are a team player, proactive and highly organised.
