About the role:
The Fleet & Leasing Intern at GM Financial supports the Fleet, Leasing and Used teams in managing their vehicle programs, leasing operations, and dealership relationships. This role provides exposure to financial services, automotive leasing processes, and operational analytics, while contributing to daily business activities and strategic projects.
In this role you will:
Assist in managing fleet accounts and finalizing contract operations
Support lease contract processing, documentation, and system updates
Analyze fleet performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Credit, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth lease transactions
Provide support for dealer network inquiries related to fleet and leasing products
Help track and report KPIs (e.g., volume to objective, lease penetration, portfolio growth)
Conduct market research on fleet trends, competitors, and strategies
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership
Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation efforts
What makes You an ideal candidate?
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software (Power BI is a plus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Interest in automotive finance, leasing, and fleet management
