Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Leasing Consultant to join our talented property management team! As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in leasing, resident relations, and creating a welcoming environment for both current and prospective residents. If you're passionate about sales, customer service, and building meaningful connections, we'd love to hear from you!

Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required for this position.

Essential Functions: include but are not limited to:

  • Resident Retention: You will deliver next-level, unforgettable customer service to both current and prospective residents/guests. You’ll build real connections, create excitement, and help drive resident engagement through creative events, social interactions, and community-building initiatives that increase satisfaction, brand buzz, referrals, and long-term retention.
  • Leasing and Sales: You are a closer — confident, energetic, and driven. You will be responsible for exceeding occupancy goals by leasing to new residents, renewing current leases, and generating strong referral and return traffic. You know how to sell the lifestyle, not just the apartment, and you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy leasing environment.
  • Marketing & Social Media Presence: You will help elevate the property’s online presence through social media marketing, creative content, resident features, tours, promotions, and engagement. You’re comfortable on camera, understand what drives traffic and leads, and know how to turn views into tours and tours into signed leases.
  • Compliance: You will ensure all leasing paperwork and customer information is accurate, complete, and properly protected. You will adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience; multifamily housing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective residents and current residents.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain professional, composed, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and basic landlord-tenant laws, or the ability to quickly learn and apply them.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with onsite teams.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate property management and financial systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently walk apartment communities, including leasing offices, amenities, parking areas, and grounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs and navigate multi-story buildings as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds (e.g., files, packages, signage, supplies).
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and scanners.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, with occasional exposure to varying weather conditions.
