Leasing Broker – Free Market Rentals | Brooklyn, NY · Base + Commission

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Tenant Management

• Manage the full rental cycle from listing to lease signing
• Handle lead intake, follow-ups, and tenant screening
• Coordinate applications, approvals, and lease execution

Showings & Market Presence

• Conduct apartment showings and open houses across NYC
• Track market trends and pricing to stay competitive

Listings & Marketing

• Create, post, and optimize listings across major rental platforms
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize exposure and occupancy
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective tenants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a real estate broker or rental agent in NYC
• Strong understanding of the NYC rental market, particularly free market units
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management abilities
• Self-starter with a drive to succeed and grow in the real estate space
• Comfortable managing multiple listings in a fast-paced environment
