We are looking for a Leasing Assistant to drive the administrative processes on our commercial real estate team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and collaborative hard worker eager to gain experience working on a variety of commercial transactions. This role will provide support and assistance in the day-to-day leasing and marketing functions. Such duties include several centralized functions, including all reporting, marketing initiatives, special projects, and systems training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform administrative duties including drafting offers, processing documentation for distribution; arrange meetings, booking travel and managing team expenses
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and developing marketing materials (e.g., lease plans, brochures, etc.) both print and online
• Assist in maintaining leasing information for the corporate and respective marketing websites
• Process and code commission invoices, as well as tracking for future payments
• Coordinate and input leasing assumptions for the budgeting processes
• Track right and options from lease documentation, departmental budget and process department expenses
• Assist with research and preparation of all monthly reports (ie. Stacking Plans, Availability Reports, etc)
• Assist with the input of information into Yardi
• Provide general administrative office support as may be required from time to time
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required
• Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
• Post-secondary educational background (University Degree or College Diploma in real estate or business preferred)
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a process driven environment
• Experience in commercial real estate industry is an asset
• Experience with Yardi 7 is an asset
• Experience with InDesign is an asset

The base salary for this position is between $43,300.00 to $58,600.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
